The Love, Izzy Project

Hi, I’m Izzy! I was born at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames and diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence (PRS) in 2019. My parents and I spent my first four weeks of life in the NICU at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. 

During my stay, I wasn’t able to wear all the ruffles and bows my mom was dying to dress me in. All the wires and tubes didn’t allow any room for that. And those provided swaddles just aren’t that cute, if I’m being honest.

By purchasing an item from the Love, Izzy Project collection, you provide a swaddle for a NICU baby and help those parents that just want to feel a little more ‘normal’.
